Abstract

The aim of the archaeological survey of the Ardahan-Horasan section, part of the BAKU-TBILISI-CEYHAN Pipeline Project, is to give a general overview of the distribution of archaeological sites in a wide geographical area that was never investigated. During the surveys the authors were able to collect a considerable amount of pottery, metal slags of both iron and copper alloys and volcanic obsidian raw materials.
